Tucked away in a small town outside of St. Louis lies one of the tip breweries in the Midwest. Inside their quaint location in Festus, Missouri, you will find some great beers (and an amazing food menu).
Minion of Gozer is a delicious double IPA. Brewed with Citra, Mosaic, Sabrina, Strata, HBC-586, and BRU-1 Hops, this beverage brings lots of unique notes. Hazy in color, there is light citrus texture to the back end of this one. And at 8.0% ABV, this IPA will sneak up on you quickly. Pairing well with some smoked wings or a burger, you can’t go wrong with this beer!
Located on Cherokee Street in St. Louis, Bluewood Brewing is making the Benton Park neighborhood proud with their “Engineered Artisan Ales”.
Crush is one for their signature IPAs. Brewed with oranges, this New England-style IPA is hazy in color and fruit-forward in taste. At 8.0% ABV, this delicious brew also packs a punch.
With a recently updated label, the artistic design on the new label for this beer is also pretty cool! The orange-tone guitar with layers of hops and leaves is a creative take on the name. The name, Crush, reminds me of a song of the same name from Dave Matthews Band. Maybe there is a correlation, huh?
Honestly, this is one of the top IPAs currently being brewed in St. Louis. Stop by the brewery and grab one on tap or pick up a 4-pack for later.
